Where's the SUMMER READING assignment?

Hello Panther students and families! There is NO required summer reading or assignment for ANY English class. However, we always recommend that you keep reading all through the summer to keep your brain active!

"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, said Jojen. The man who never reads lives only one." - George R. R. Martin

VHS Core Values

Vista High School seeks to maintain:

1) A nurturing environment for all students.

2) High academic standards rooted in collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking.

Vista High School's English department is dedicated to upholding the core values of the school. VHS English teachers are supportive and passionate about promoting literacy for all students, challenging them to think critically and creatively. English teachers work together to create thorough and appropriately paced learning units. English teachers are constantly reflecting on their students' progress. We believe every child has the right to learn, and we are here to help.
